27 Aug What’s that joke about people who say goodbye and never leave?
That’s that what I feel like this week because I’m back in Cincinnati, still running into old friends who are saying “you’re back already?”
It’s more a question of finishing up final details. Or maybe more “critical details” are appearing because it’s harder to say goodbye than I thought.
In fact, it reminds of that favorite childhood book, “Goodnight, Moon.”

Goodbye my favorite chair at Starbuck’s.
Goodbye Cincinnati Country Day School.
Goodbye soccer field.
Goodbye last son….
WAIT! That’s why I’m still here…my last child still needs to be dropped at college and then I am Chicago bound.
