20 Feb I’m Back!
Over the past few months many people (more than I even knew) have reached out to me asking what happened to my blog, The Stuff of Life. Somehow I fell off the blog path this year because as my personal journey became harder and harder, I found putting it down on paper seemed…equally difficult.
However, one of my favorite bloggers, actress Rita Wilson, pulled me back into action. Just around Christmas time she posted a writing contest on Huffpost50. She was looking for 15 women over the age of 50 who were going to make meaningful and significant change in the year 2015…“ah-hah moment” kind of change in their lives. Big steps…
The deadline was January 5th at 11:59pm. Being the procrastinator I am, I sat down to finally put into words what I am now finally putting into action.
Of course it was 9:59pm on January 5th when I hit the submit button and entered Rita’s contest. Sadly, those chosen were just announced and I was not among the 15 “winners.” I congratulate all of us who entered and I am excited to follow the journey of the 15 women who were selected!! YOU GO…It seems there are a lot of us with big plans for ourselves this year…myself included.
